REP Fitness at HomeGymCon 2026: New Gear and Equipment Innovations

Per REP Fitness's own recap, the brand rolled out its biggest booth to date at HomeGymCon 2026 in Louisville — 3,000 square feet of gear, 2,500 attendees, and a Top Contributor award.

REP Fitness at HomeGymCon 2026: New Gear and Equipment Innovations

The real question for anyone running a home gym: does any of this new hardware actually move the needle?

The Strive Cardio Lineup

Two pieces on display. Both self-powered.

Strive Air Bike with VPR™. The VPR system lets you adjust and dial in resistance instead of just pedaling harder. For HIIT, that means locking output at a controlled level and running repeatable intervals. Standard air bikes scale intensity with effort — harder pedaling, more drag. VPR decouples intensity from cadence. Genuine edge for zone-based work. Pricing wasn't in the recap.

Strive Curved Treadmill. Self-powered curved deck. REP calls it one of the heaviest sled resistance features on the market. No motor. No plug. Top speed is capped by your output. Ideal for sprint intervals — you self-select intensity. Trade-off: heavy footprint, and elite sprinters outpace most home users' top speed. For sled pushes and short sprints, it fits. For long steady-state work, look elsewhere.

Cable Arms and Dialed Motion

Articulating cable arms, launching soon. They pivot to hit angles fixed trolleys can't — chest presses from multiple vectors, crossovers, angled rows. If you already own a rack-mounted cable column, this is a marginal upgrade. If you're building from scratch, it consolidates a pulley setup into one unit.

The Dialed Motion partnership: one attachment covers leg extensions, leg curls, prone leg curls, plus an optional pad for preacher curls and triceps pushdowns. Five movements, one footprint. Solid space recovery for a tight garage gym.

REP's Purist® Nutrition line ran product samples and a sweepstakes with 350+ entries for a full year's supply plus a Strive Air Bike. Peach Mango was the weekend's fan-favorite flavor. Giveaway metrics aside, the gear is the story.

Connected Fitness Pivot and the Verdict

REP announced a new digital strength division. The pitch: same data access as elite training centers and pro athletes. No product. No app. No dashboard. No timeline. Co-founders Ryan and Shane McGrotty teased it on Instagram with Joe Gray (@gray_matter_lifting). Until there's a shipping spec sheet, this is announcement-only.

The Deadlift Party drew 150+ attendees. 50+ pulled. Mark Rosenberg (@deadliestlift) hit 765 lbs for the top single. Apparel sold nearly out. Strong community play. Zero performance data for the rest of us.

Bottom line: the Strive Air Bike and Curved Treadmill address two gaps in a home HIIT setup — adjustable-resistance cardio and sprint-grade running. Dialed Motion earns space-saving points. The connected fitness push is a watch-item, not a buy. Hold for pricing on the Strive series. Skip the data platform until the dashboard exists.
